CAT Scale Company is devoted to serving the trucking industry. That's why we make customer satisfaction our #1 priority and guarantee that our weights are accurate. If you get an overweight fine from the state after our scale showed you legal, we will immediately check our scale. If our scale is wrong, we will reimburse you for the fine. If our scale is correct, a representative of CAT Scale Company will appear in court with you as a witness.

Standard Trailer

As you can see, all three axles are on the scale at one time.

Drive onto the scale so that your steer axle is positioned on platform 1, your drive axle on platform 2 and your trailer axle on platform 3.

Split-Axle Trailer

If you are weighing a split-axle trailer you will need to move your truck during the weighing process.

You start out your weigh the same as if you were pulling a standard trailer.

Position 1: Your steer axle should be positioned on platform 1 and your drive axle on platform 2.

The weighmaster will then ask you to pull forward.

Position 2: Your drive axle should be on platform 1 with your front trailer axle on platform 2 and your rear trailer axle on platform 3.

Double Trailer

As with a split-axle trailer, weighing double trailers also will require you to move your truck during the weighing process.

As you pull onto the scale make sure that your truck is in position 1.

Position 1: Your street axle should be positioned on platform 1 and your drive axle on platform 2.

Position 2: The trailer axle of your first trailer would be on platform 1, front axle on your second trailer should on platform 2 and rear axle of your second trailer on platform 3.
